TAP INTO YOUR FULL POTENTIAL

Co-Ops / Internships / Development Program

Mueller Water Products is committed to sustaining one of the world’s most precious natural resources: water.

We work with cities and water utilities to provide products and services that deliver clean drinking water, monitor demand levels, detect leaks, and manage the water infrastructure with real-time data.

With depleting freshwater sources, ongoing climate change impacts, declining biodiversity and aging water infrastructure, our work is more important today than ever before.

We offer several programs to engage talented college students and recent graduates. Join us — and tap into your full potential.

Where Intelligence Meets Infrastructure®

Internships

As a Mueller intern, you’ll get hands-on experience in real-world environments, supervised by someone in your field. You’ll work with teams and projects that allow you to apply your coursework and knowledge while learning on the job.

Mueller internships are paid positions, generally in the summer. You must have completed your sophomore year and be pursuing an undergrad degree.

Co-Ops

Mueller co-ops gain a world of experience by working full-time for a semester or more.

You should be pursuing an undergraduate degree and be able to hit pause on the studies while you dedicate yourself to the job. In return, you’ll be paid a competitive wage and get an in-depth, extensive experience.

Mueller Development Program (MDP)

Our unique MDP is designed for high achieving recent college grads in the fields of engineering (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing and software), IT, finance and human resources.

The two-year program accelerates your development as a professional and future company leader. Your assignments will rotate among disciplines in your field and/or Mueller locations (don’t worry; we cover moving expenses for location rotations).

You’ll also get a formal mentorship and training curriculum.

This full-time job comes with a competitive salary and complete benefits. Program graduates have moved into roles throughout Mueller with confidence and skill.

MDP participants are:

  • Highly motivated
  • Creative thinkers
  • Effective problem-solvers
  • Team players with excellent soft skills
  • Adaptable
  • Passionate about their fields
  • Active participants in their own career growth and direction

The Mueller Development Program (MDP) allowed me to learn far more across various environments than I ever would have learned in just one. It took me outside my comfort zone and provided experiences that would have taken years in a normal position.

Forrest Holloman, Human Resources

University of South Carolina

By participating in the software MDP, I was exposed to a wide range of modern technologies. The program provides a unique opportunity to develop the skills needed for a successful career.

Ano Karadaghi, Software Engineering

University of Georgia

As a new college graduate, I wasn’t sure where in IT I wanted to work. MDP allowed me to grow as a professional and helped me learn where I fit best. The guidance and knowledge gained in this program set me up for success.

Brittanie Branch, IT

Georgia State University

The Mueller Development Program allowed me to work on a product on the R&D side and then follow it through into production. That’s an opportunity other engineering career paths may take years to fully experience.

Sean Allen, Design Engineering

Clemson

MDP exposed me to different functions within the company, which helped me know what I wanted to do in the long run in my career. I also learned new hard and soft skills with each MDP rotation.
